Platform Fee Schedule
Heritage Prime Construction charges a platform fee on every project to cover matching, payment processing, escrow protection, dispute resolution, and platform infrastructure. The fee is calculated as a percentage of the project total and is clearly disclosed in every invoice.

Deposit Requirement
Before any work can begin, the customer must pay a deposit that is held securely in escrow:

Deposit Requirement: Before any work commences, the customer must pay a minimum deposit of 40% of the agreed project total (50% for High-End and Emergency projects). This deposit is held securely by Heritage Prime Construction and is released to the contractor according to the agreed payment milestones. Work cannot begin until this deposit is received and confirmed. If the job is cancelled before work starts, the deposit is refunded minus a processing fee. After work has commenced, cancellation requires admin review and may incur additional charges.
Fee Protection — No Off-Platform Work
Fee Protection Clause: All payments for this project must be processed through the Heritage Prime Construction platform. The customer agrees to pay the platform fee (as a percentage of the project total) which is collected by Heritage Prime Construction for facilitating this engagement. The contractor agrees that the platform fee is deducted from the project total and that attempting to bypass the platform payment system, take the customer off-platform, or arrange direct payment outside the platform constitutes a material breach of this agreement and may result in account suspension, forfeiture of platform access, and legal action. This fee covers project matching, payment processing, escrow protection, dispute resolution, and platform infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide an accurate and complete project description before posting
- Review contractor proposals and select through the platform
- Sign the project agreement acknowledging fees and deposit requirements
- Pay the required deposit (40-50%) before work begins
- Make the work site accessible on agreed dates
- Approve any scope changes in writing through the platform
- Inspect completed work and release final payment through the platform
- Do not solicit or accept off-platform work from the contractor for 12 months post-completion

- Submit accurate proposals through the platform bid system
- Sign the project agreement acknowledging fees and roles
- Perform work to professional industry standards
- Provide progress updates and photos through the platform
- Complete work within the agreed timeline
- Not accept payment or arrange work outside the platform
- Resolve disputes through the platform resolution process
